Tephrocactus geometricus
This is a slow growing cactus that is shaped like a sphere, and will eventually form a clump of spheres, each one up to 2" across. Needs much less water in the winter and very quick draining soil. In the spring they have a large white flower with a yellow center. This strain also has long white spines which tend to point downwards.
These are older plants that have some corking, which is a natural aging process that cacti go through where the skin starts turning brown and hardening.
