Piaranthus geminatus is a low-growing, mat-forming succulent with short, four-angled stems that root along the ground and form a dense patch over time. The stems are soft green, often with fine ridges or lines, and stay compact, making this an easy one to keep in a shallow pot.

This clone produces yellow star-shaped flowers with a textured, slightly wrinkled surface and a raised center. They typically appear in pairs near the base of the stems in late summer or fall. Like many stapeliads, the flowers may have a faint scent to attract pollinators, but it’s usually mild.

Prefers bright, indirect light and excellent drainage. Water sparingly during active growth and keep dry in winter.
