Huernia x pendurata
Huernia x pendurata is a hybrid stapeliad with green, four-angled stems that are lined with short tubercles and tend to trail or sprawl as they grow. It forms low mats over time and can develop a slight blush under bright light.
Flowers are bell-shaped and pendulous, in a very deep maroon color. The inner surface is glossy and textured. Blooms appear along the stems and hang downwards, typically in late summer or fall.
Best grown in bright, indirect light with excellent drainage. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and keep mostly dry in winter.
