Euphorbia milii f. variegata 'Crown of Thorns'
This is a variegated form of the classic Crown of Thorns, Euphorbia milii. It’s a woody, branching succulent shrub with stout, thorny stems. The main attraction is the foliage—the leaves have a spectacular mottling of cream and green, often with pink highlights along the margins. It produces clusters of small flowers surrounded by colorful bracts, which are hot pink.
Native to Madagascar, this is a relatively slow-growing plant that can eventually grow into a shrub a few feet tall. Of course it will stay smaller if limited by pot size. Like other Euphorbias, it produces a milky white latex sap that is toxic and can be a skin irritant, so handle with care.
