Cereus repandus f. monstrose
This monstrose form of Cereus repandus grows as an irregular column with knobby ridges, uneven ribs, and scattered areoles. No two plants look alike - each one develops its own sculptural form over time. Stems range from blue-green to gray-green, sometimes accented by short, coppery red spines that add contrast and texture to the surface.
It’s a slow grower that can eventually reach several feet tall but stays compact in a container for many years. Provide bright light and fast-draining soil. Water deeply when dry, and keep mostly dry in winter.
