Astrophytums are a tropical cactus native to a very small range in Texas and Mexico. Asterias grows as a squat disc, each covered in a unique pattern of dots. Kikko is a specially selected attribute where the ribs are split into tubercles. Nudum means without dots, though they still have the large dots.
