Grand Re-Opening!

Grand Re-Opening!

Posted by Amie Frisch on

Hello, dear friends and fellow plant nerds!

It brings me immense joy to share some exciting news with you all: Vivid Root is reopening its virtual doors! After a year of reflection and recalibration, I'm back, and I couldn't be more thrilled to embark on this journey once again, alongside each of you.

The past year has been a time of significant personal upheaval and transformation for me. Life threw some big challenges my way, making a pause necessary. However, every sunset is followed by a sunrise, and today marks the dawn of a rejuvenated Vivid Root.

As I reopen, you'll notice some changes. I'm transitioning to offering larger, more mature plants, instead of the often tiny ones I was offering before. This shift makes more financial sense for me, and means some really fantastic plants for you. The pause in operations has given me time to grow, grow, grow!

My inventory will be more limited for now, but as I get rolling I'll be adding back more and more favorites. While I navigate this growth phase, rest assured, I have a lot of plants that I'm personally very excited about and I believe you will be too.

In addition to the greenhouse, another dream is taking root: I'm building a house! This is truly a dream come true for me, and I've been busy designing every last detail. I'll be breaking ground soon, and it's a small house so hopefully it won't take tooooo long to complete.

Preparation for reopening has been a labor of love. The potting area has undergone a transformation with a new decomposed granite floor, eliminating the challenges of mud and puddles, and a reorganization to put all my soil making and potting supplies in the same place. Yay for efficiency!

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to new growth, new beginnings, and a future filled with greenery and joy.

With gratitude and excitement,

Amie
